国内首部偶像剧化的现代都市情景喜剧《双人房单人床》将于10月23日在全国《630剧场》同步开播。与传统的家长里短式的情景喜剧不同的是，这部听起来跟莫文蔚的歌很类似的《双人房单人床》走的是偶像化的都市情景喜剧路线，这也是本剧的最大看点。这是在情景喜剧界向来勇于创新的630继综艺情景喜剧、古装情景喜剧之后力推的又一新兴剧种，能不能成为本土化情景剧和偶像剧的突破之作，还得等着市场的反应。
