《返城年代》是一部关于当年知青的故事，由著名导演李文岐所指导，著名作家都梁担任编剧的知青类题材的电视剧。该剧由知名的演员刘丹和郑昊所领衔主演，主要讲述了当时那个年代一批知青返城生活后的痛苦以及挣扎，以及他们对于发生在自己身上的亲情和爱情的理解与经历。刘丹在剧中颠覆了以往温情和柔弱的女人角色，而以豪放泼辣的东北女人形象出演，在返城年代中所饰演的角色李玖有着好的家庭环境，虽然性格直爽，但在当时那个年代她的很多行为以及思想并不被周围的人所认同，但是外界人对于她的眼光并没有改变她，在内心的纯净以及对爱情的执着，依然勇敢的追求自己想要的那种生活。
