该剧以朴实自然的日常生活为切入点，通过展现彭凯旋和于春晓与刘栋和戴娜两对80后，闯入婚姻的围城却难以驾驭城内的国度的生活历程，直到完成磨合，相互适应，建立幸福美满的家庭的过程，揭示婚姻与生活的真谛。
