本剧讲述了四座城市、四种女人的经典爱情故事，主创根据四座城市的气质，还将故事设定在四个不同的季节，颇具心思。其中，四位女主角各自秉承着不同的爱情观，折射出当代都市女性的情感心理，每种爱情观都非常具有个性，每种女人都想成为男人心中唯一的“女王”，台词犀利、情节大胆，有望引发一股“全民女王”风潮。

泰瑞（泰瑞·克鲁斯 Terry Crews 饰）性格懦弱，至今还沉浸在妻子带着一对双胞胎女儿离他而去的痛苦之中。而查尔斯（乔·洛·特鲁格里奥 Joe Lo Truglio 饰）则陷入了对美女探员洛萨（斯蒂芬妮·比翠丝 Stephanie Beatriz 饰）那注定不会有结果的恋情之中无法自拔。
業田良家「男の操」のドラマ化が決定した。BSプレミアムにて、11月12日より全7回で放送される。「男の操」は、紅白出場を夢見る売れない演歌歌手・五木みさおを中心に描かれるヒューマンコメディ。ドラマではみさお役を浜野謙太が、みさおの亡き妻・純子役を倉科カナ、みさおのひとり娘・あわれ役を粟野咲莉が演じる。劇中歌「男の操」の作曲は、業田の指名でつんく♂が担当。業田は「主題歌の歌詞に曲をつけてくれるなら、絶対につんく♂さんがいいとお願いしました。夢が叶って嬉しいです」と喜びのコメントを発表している。
