本剧讲述了地质学教授山本太阳带着他的研究生野外实地考察，赶往就要沉没到坝底的树海。传说这里是战后GHQ从日本接收，被作为秘密资金“M资金”的藏匿地点。为此一探真相。但是，在网上流传着，此处是像杉泽村一样的诡异的废弃村落，更有数不清的尸体！凡是接触到尸体的人，就像活死尸一样，双臂无法动…。 这部余时三天的时间推理剧中，山本一行人是否可以突出重围，活着从树海逃离！？
